SECOMM employees are employed by the City of Richland and provide public safety and 911 dispatch services to all emergency service agencies within Benton and Franklin counties, along with Fire/EMS dispatch service to the Burbank area of WAlla WAlla County.

Located in Yakima, the heart of Central Washington, SunComm is the Regional 9-1-1 Center responsible for emergency communications. Telecommunicators are responsible for answering emergency 9-1-1 calls county-wide and and dispatching resources such as police officers, firefighters, and paramedics in the City of Yakima and the City of Union Gap. We have a staff of 34 which includes 911 Call-Takers, Telecommunicators, and Admin Staff.
